ActiveX Filter

When you visit some web pages, you may be prompted to install an ActiveX control which is either useless or contains spyware or viruses. In some extreme cases, it will prompt you again and again if you select "NO". It won't end until you select "Yes". That's very annoying and obtrusive, isn't it? ActiveX filter can black list these ActiveX controls so that the dialogs won't come up at all.

ActiveX filter maintains a black list and it will only block ActiveX controls inside the black list. We are including more and more unsafe and obtrusive ActiveX controls into the black list. If you see one unblocked, select "Tools->ActiveX Filter->Auto-detect ActiveX Controls" from the menu and report the detected information to us. We will include it into the black list so that it will be blocked in the next version.
